Pleading the sixth of Philippians.

God has really been stretching me to trust Him lately, with my internship in particular. The deadline is really close, mere days away, but I’m still very behind in my financial support. This is not a passive-agressive way of me asking for financial support; it’s a way of showing that God is in control, even when I totally don’t feel it.

The Bible, time and again, shows of God’s faithfulness. Deuteronomy 32:3-4 says,

“I will proclaim the name of the LORD.
Oh, praise the greatness of our God!
He is the Rock, his works are perfect,
and all his ways are just.
A faithful God who does no wrong,
upright and just is he.”

Philippians 1:6 says,

“…being confident of this, that he who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus.”

Since God has a plan for me, and I do truly believe that this internship is part of it, I have to trust that He has it under control. He’s going to push me until I can’t do anything except rely on Him, which is almost where I’m at. He needs to be the hero of this story, so it’ll get to the point where I couldn’t have raised this money except by the hand of God.

I’m not the only one raising support, either. My whole staff team and my fellow student interns, Morgan, Elliott, and Josh, are as well.

Like I said, this isn’t a way of asking for support, just prayer for a faithful heart. If you’d like to support financially, though, please go to:, and my staff account number is 0644283.

  1. Remember when/if I told you the story about how I raised my project support RIGHT when I handed my key back in at the Chateau? I am confident that He’s just showing you that even after project, the trusting part is not over, because there is still more after project. It seems you are not alone this year either. It’ll come in His time. Just remember to take in the experiences during this time as well, even after. Even if support is not raised, perhaps He’s showing you a new plan and direction, the only end goal in life is your salvation and eternity with Him. I’ll be praying that this time is very enriching and that God will reveal Himself in time!
