Bind up these broken bones.

Currently listening to: “Show Me” by Audrey Assad

If you’ve been trying to keep up with my blog, you’ve noticed that I haven’t written in a month. Yes, a month. It’s been way too long.

Classes have been underway for more than a month now, and I’ve been busier this semester than any other semester of college so far. My friend Tyler put it this way: “Freshman and Sophomore years, you’re not really in college. Once you hit Junior year, it’s college.” I agree. I’ve been swamped with homework and projects and exams, not to mention that I’m also super involved with Campus Crusade for Christ at USC, and semi-involved with my sorority.

Now for a quick update on my life:
For the past two weeks, God’s been breaking me down and forcing me to rely on Him. It’s been a challenge, especially since I love controlling everything, but it’s been really wonderful relying on Him. He’s shown me so many amazing things about Himself and about myself, and I’m learning how to trust Him with my deepest fears. He’s also been showing me the value of an active prayer life, and I can’t explain well enough how refreshing prayer can be. CRU has weekly prayer meetings and after each one, as exhausted as I am going into the meeting, my spirit is refreshed and feels completely at peace. God is definitely doing amazing things in my life.

I do need to update a few goals, though.
#12: I can finally upload a picture of me pumping gas!

#62: As of today, I’ve done way more than 30 days’ worth of quiet times with God. So that’s finished. I’m not sure how to document that with a picture, but I’ll put one up eventually.

I guess that’s it for now. If you want to read another awesome blog, my dear friend Elliott has a pretty great one that I, regrettably, haven’t been keeping up with as regularly as I’d hoped. Sorry, Elliott!
